(AREA) The scientific Council of AREA held its regular meeting in Al-Kod research Station and scheduled next meeting to April 2006 (AREA) For the first time in the history of modern Yemeni Agriculture, New Minister request AREA to prepare a plan for human resources development for the next 5 years (AREA) AREA receives letters of thanks and more requests for copies of its new publication from varied development, research and academic institutions and individuals (AREA) Shortly, AREA would publish a special field guide on “Agricultural climate and production systems of Al-Mahrah Governorate” and a Compendium of “Research Improved farming technologies” being generalized by ADP in Zabid Valley (AREA) AREA invited various Yemeni scientific and Academic institutions to register in, and effectively utilize, “AGORA” service for Free scientific journals and periodicals (AREA) AREA research stations and centers continues organizing the Technical Workshops for Research and Extension continues in the regions and at the national level (AREA) A team from AREA Visits Syria, Aleppo, in the context of implementing the scientific cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Agriculture, Aleppo University (AREA) To take off with 16 new farm research technologies, a special project on “Local farming systems Improvement and Technology Dissemination” is granted a Green light
